Description
The Cypress Arizona (Cupressus Arizona) είναι ένα κωνοφόρο αειθαλές, με τελικό ύψος 10-15m. Η κόμη του είναι κωνική. Έχει εντυπωσιακό μπλε-πράσινο φύλλωμά. Τα φύλλα είναι λεπιοειδή, πυκνά και πιεσμένα πάνω στα κλαδιά. Είναι μόνοικο είδος και φέρει αρσενικούς και θηλυκούς ιούλους στα άκρα των βραχυκλαδίων. Η άνθηση παρατηρείται από Ιανουάριο έως Απρίλιο. Τα φύλλα του είναι λεπιοειδή, τριγωνικά, σταυροειδώς αντίθετα. Ο καρπός του είναι στρόβιλος σφαιρικός στην αρχή είναι καστανός και στη συνέχεια σταχτογαλανός.

Care
It withstands air pollution, a little water when it is large and can be planted in barren and rocky soils. It is a solitary species and carries male and female juveniles at the ends of short branches. Flowering is observed from January to April. It thrives in places with mild winters and does not thrive in environments with temperatures below -18οC. Withstands summer drought.
Uses
Ideal for creating tall fences. Combines with other conifers for fencing and tree lines. It has a relatively fast growth rate (40-50 cm per year). Plantings are done every 1 meter. It is resistant to fungi.
