Description

Η I'm calling (calluna vulgaris) or otherwise some is an evergreen small shrub of their family Ericaceae. It has small leaves in gray-green color, in a four-line arrangement and a height of 0,20-0,80m. In autumn the leaves turn bright red. Their flowers are bell-shaped, tubular with bracts and bracts. It blooms from July to November depending on the variety and prefers semi-shady places.

Care

Location: Grows in acidic and barren soils, with very good drainage. It prefers sunny and semi-shady places, with the ideal ones protected from the intense midday sun of summer. The particle grows well in shady places, but its flowering is reduced.  

Watering: No need for frequent watering. In the summer months it should be watered every 2-3 days.  

Pruning: At the end of winter the dry shoots are removed and it acquires a compact shape.

Uses

The beauty is ideal for indoor and outdoor areas. It can be planted in flowerbed compositions or in individual places in the garden. Can be used in a flowerpot or planter on the balcony or terrace.
