The Mexican cactus (Marginatocereus marginatus) is a species of cactus with slow growth. It belongs to the Cactaceae family. It comes from Mexico.

Description of the plant

Ο Mexican cactus reaches a maximum height of about 8 meters and a diameter of about 15-20 centimeters. It develops an upright stem, with a rounded top and often branched. Near its base lateral shoots develop next to each other. Its stem is light green in color and bears from 20 to 35 thorns.
Its flowers are salmon-pink tubular. Its flowering period is from May to July.

Planting substrate
