The hornwort is an ornamental shrub, with fantastic, rich foliage and a uniquely beautiful, wooden frame. Its dark green foliage, decorated with thick cream borders. It has a height and width that reaches from 2,5 to 4 meters.
Flowers
Its tiny flowers appear in late spring and early summer. Flat, white bouquets, while as they ripen, they give way to small, white fruits.
Position
It likes sunny places or those with light shade and can be planted in places protected from frost and strong or hot wind, but also places unprotected.
Watering
It needs moderate watering, mainly in the hot, summer months, but also in the first weather until it is established in a garden.
Durability
It is a plant resistant to frost and low temperatures up to -20°C, while at the same time it can withstand soils with corrosion.
