The cotoneaster (Cotoneaster sp.) is a perennial, evergreen shrub with lateral growth with a final height of 1 – 1,5 m. Its leaves are small, oval, deep green. In autumn they acquire red colors. Blooms in spring with white flowers. Its flowering period is May – June. Its fruits are small spherical in orange-red shades.
It thrives in sunny or semi-shady places. It is resistant to barren soils, dry thermal conditions and coastal plantings. It is a slow growing plant.
