Its flower, which is not fragrant, comes in many shades: orange, pink, purple, red, yellow, white and salmon. Its flowering lasts from April to September.

Adding a complete water-soluble fertilizer during the spring season will enhance the duration of its flowering.

Enemies and Diseases

It is a very resistant plant. Its most common enemies are snails, aphids and spider mites.

Most varieties are propagated by seeds, as well as by division of the rhizome in early spring.
