Lechuza planting media

LECHUZA's substrates are made of high quality raw materials and are an ideal choice in cases where organic soil cannot be used.

Some main features of the substrates:

  • They have draining properties.
  • They provide better air circulation to the roots and act as water and nutrient reservoirs.
  • They do not create sediments.
  • They do not need to be topped up over time.
  • Thanks to their nutrients, they can be used in conventional pots either as a drainage layer or as an alternative to normal soil.

There are 5 types of planting media, in various sizes:

  • Lechuza-Pon
  • Terrapon
  • Veggiepon
  • Orchidpon
  • Basicpon

Lechuza-Pon

Thanks to its nutrients, Lechuza-Pon can be used in conventional pots as well as in all planting systems.

It is the "heart" of the Lechuza self-watering system. It stores nutrients and releases them to the plant as needed, protecting the pH level.

Terrapon

Terrapon planting medium is suitable for all plants and especially for indoor plants. It ensures optimal air-water circulation in the plant and its proper fertilization.

Thus, it releases the nutrients evenly to the potted plants over a period of 6 to 8 months.

Veggiepon

Nutrient-rich Veggiepon is enriched with 100% vegan compost and premium biochar for excellent results. Taking advantage of the traditional Terra Preta principle, we achieve a rich harvest in harmony with nature.

It releases nutrients evenly to potted plants over 6 to 8 months.

Orchidpon

Orchidpon is specially adapted to the needs of orchids. Rich in chemicals, it lowers the pH value in the soil and thus creates a slightly acidic environment which is ideal for orchids.

Combined with the nutrients it contains, it strengthens the plant and helps it flourish. Orchidpon achieves a balanced supply of water and air, good nutrient storage and a stable pH value in the soil.

Basicpon

Basicpon is based on the nutrients of Pon, without containing fertilizer, which makes it suitable for sensitive plants.

It is an ideal choice, in cases where there is no conventional soil: it is structurally stable, it helps in better aeration of the roots and in the gradual administration of water.

Its use is recommended for the cultivation of cuttings and offshoots. It can be used as a substrate or added to soil.
