Diseases and enemies
Primrose is most often attacked by insect pests, such as aphids. These cause curling of the leaves and stain the plant with their honeydew secretions.
In addition, in periods where high atmospheric and soil humidity is observed, the plant is attacked by botrytis (Botrytis sp.), causing rotting of the shoots and leaves, thus forming a gray dust on all its parts.
