Thyme is a small perennial shrub about 10-30 cm tall with erect stems, extremely hardy, emits a very pleasant aroma and belongs to the category of herbs or spices.

Its flowering period is summer, with small, pink to lilac flowers.
Location
It grows satisfactorily in all types of soils, without particular problems. Prerequisite for the soil to be well drained. Prefers places with sun or moderate shade.
Durability
It is resistant to cold and heat, as long as it is in a sunny position.
Watering
It needs moderate amounts of watering, with limited to no watering in the winter and more regular watering in the warm periods of the year.
Pruning
Strict pruning is recommended after the end of flowering for lush vegetation thereafter.
Lubrication
It is good to strengthen it regularly from spring to the end of summer.
Diseases and enemies
It is quite a resistant plant and is not easily affected by diseases and insects.
