Deciduous shrub with thorny red branches, striking deep red leaves and a final height of up to 2m. In spring, small whitish flowers appear. One of the most resistant plants in adverse conditions such as poor quality water and soil, air pollution and cold. There are also dwarf varieties with a height of up to 0cm, ideal for rock gardens and low impermeable borders. One of the few shrubs that retains their beautiful appearance even in winter, due to its red branches and leaves. You do not need strict pruning, pruning only the branches that bother in early spring.
