The vineyard (Parthenocissus quinquefolia) or otherwise ivy pentaphyllos is a deciduous, climbing plant. Its leaves are green pentalobes, which in autumn acquire a unique purple color and in winter it sheds them. The following spring it swells again and develops tendrils that end in suckers, which make it easier to climb. It shows very fast growth with its height exceeding ten meters.

The grapevine belongs to the plants that do not have special climatic and soil requirements. It prefers sunny and bright places, but it also grows in the shade. It prefers well-drained soils and is planted both in the ground and in a pot.

You can use either the granular fertilizer by spreading it on the ground between the plants and then watering well or by dissolving the water-soluble fertilizer in the watering can.
