Stephanotis (Stephanotis floribunda) is a climbing, evergreen shrub with fragrant flowers and is native to Madagascar. Its charm lies in the beauty of its flowers and its fragrant foliage. It can reach a height of up to 4 – 5 m. The foliage of the corolla is shiny and large, with an intense green color and its flowers are small, white and fragrant that appear in August and September.
Position
It thrives in mild climates and in deep, rich, well-drained soils and needs sheltered positions from wind and intense sun. The best planting position is semi-shade.
Watering
It requires regular watering, but excessive soil moisture should be avoided. It is a good idea to allow the top of the soil to dry out slightly between waterings.
Durability
It is relatively resistant to diseases and tolerates moderate temperatures. It is sensitive to low temperatures and winter frost.
Lubrication
