Dianthus Corsicus is a small evergreen perennial plant from the Caryophyllaceae family. It is from the island of Corsica, as the name suggests, which is located in the Mediterranean Sea. It has dense foliage of blue-green leaves and its flowers are usually dark pink in color. The height it can reach is 15 cm and its width 30 cm.

Position

It is adapted to grow in rocky and mountainous areas, withstands drought and full sun exposure. One of the plants that are suitable for outdoor spaces and gardens.

Blooming season

The blooming season of Dianthus corsicus is in spring and summer. A mass of dark pink flowers emerge from the ground with lush foliage taking the shape of a small umbrella.

Durability

It is hardy and can live in temperatures down to -10°C, as long as the soil is not moist. It thrives best in warm and sunny places. Of course, providing partial shade during the hottest hours of the day can protect the plant from excessive heat and strong sunlight. .
