Hoya kerrii or Valentine hoya is one of the most popular plants in recent years thanks to the very characteristic heart shape of its leaf. Originating in the rainforests of Asia, it is a slow-growing climbing plant that blooms in spring.
Description of Hoya
It has fleshy leaves, in the shape of a heart. They germinate in stems, 7 mm in diameter and 6 cm wide. Adult plants show shade inflorescences. Each awning consists of small, asteroid-shaped flowers. Their color is white and in the center they have pink shades. They produce small drops of sticky nectar.
Hoya care
. Location
- Indoors: placed in a bright room. It is also important to keep it away from hot and cold air currents. Wind currents can damage its leaves.
- Outdoors: placed in a bright area, but must be protected from direct sunlight. An ideal place is a shady balcony.

It is necessary to apply a special fertilizer for cacti and succulents every month from the beginning of spring until summer.
➢ Multiplication
Propagated by cuttings in spring. You can cut a 7–10 cm cut with one bud and at least one leaf and plant it in a pot with a special substrate for succulents and cacti. Place the pot in a place with indirect light, making sure it stays fresh. Roots will begin to form after one to six weeks.
