Insect description
Stink bugs are insects that belong to the order Hemiptera and are insects that cause extensive damage to vegetables, fruit trees and other crops. The stink bugs are 5-8 mm long, usually green, brown or gray, depending on the type of stinker, while their body is covered by a hard shell. They have long slender legs and antennae, while their saliva contains toxic substances and a characteristic unwanted odor. These substances are secreted for reasons of protection of these insects from their various enemies.

It infects a wide variety of plants but has a particular preference for tomatoes, corn and beans. It can also infect fruits from fruit trees. Points of infestation are the young leaves and fruits. The stink causes curling, tearing and drying of the vegetable leaves. Characteristic is the infestation of stink on tomatoes, where yellow spots appear on the outer surface of the fruit and corky areas inside.
