Stink bugs are insects that belong to the order Hemiptera and are insects that cause extensive damage to vegetables, fruit trees and other crops. The stink bugs are 5-8 mm long, usually green, brown or gray, depending on the type of stinker, while their body is covered by a hard shell. They have long slender legs and antennae, while their saliva contains toxic substances and a characteristic unwanted odor. These substances are secreted for reasons of protection of these insects from their various enemies.

Damage caused by his insult

It infects a wide variety of plants but has a particular preference for tomatoes, corn and beans. It can also infect fruits from fruit trees. Points of infestation are the young leaves and fruits. The stink causes curling, tearing and drying of the vegetable leaves. Also, the stink infected the fruits of the vegetables and causes necrosis and discoloration with the result that the fruits do not ripen normally and are unsuitable for eating. Characteristic is the infestation of stink on tomatoes, where yellow spots appear on the outer surface of the fruit and corky areas inside. The stink sucks the sap of the plants, so our plants have a bad appearance and stop growing. If the percentage of the population is large, you can lose much of the production.
